What is Effective Cycling?
The League of American Bicyclists (LAB) BikeEd
courses are based on the concept of Effective Cycling,
developed by John
Forester and most fully explored
in his book Effective Cycling. Effective
Cycling observes, simply, that “Cyclists
fare best when they act and are treated as drivers
of vehicles.”
